Rewards

So I'm not above bribing myself to get shiznit done. My latest self-bribe is this:

When I hit 30,000 words in the WiP, I am allowed to order myself this awesome (WiP themed) T-shirt:


How about you? Do you ever bribe yourself for words? And what kind of stuff do you like to bribe yourself with?

    TOTALLY awesome reward - now I want one!!! :-) Yes, I do bribe myself, LOL! Glad to know I'm not the only one! I bribe myself with "not having to do this anymore" generally - look, self, just spend ten minutes doing X and then you can do Y. :-)

    Ooooo. I hadn't thought of that. Good idea. I'm working on my 3rd novel while querying my 2nd and really having a hard time writing this WIP. Hum. Maybe a bribe is what I need. :)

    I write technical reports for a living. I used to bribe myself with cigarettes (like a cheap hooker in a war movie). Now I actually bribe myself with blogging and reading blogs. I break the report down into little tasks on note cards and when I get one done I rip it all up(!) and then I get to read/write blogs for a certain number of minutes.

    I bribe myself too, during Script Frenzy and NaNo segments, with CDs that I usually dream about for months beforehand.
    Although, I'm running out of choices so maybe I should look to something else for a little while ^_^
