  3. I'm embarrassed to say that I collect them. :) Every so often I do a google search for "Motivational Super Hero" and see if anything pops up. My favorite in the one I used for my last blog chain post - the one with everyone looking so sad at Superman's funeral except Batman who looks bored. This one is so funny to me because of the history of dislike Batman and Superman have for each other. Especially after the fling Bruce Wayne had with Lois Lane and...*ahem* I'm really showing my nerdy stripes today, huh?

  4. Yeah, you really are with that one. It's funny how little most non-fans know about all that goes on in comic books. Like people not realizing that Batman started out very dark and grim (which is how I liked him anyway). So who's your fav comic book hero? Mine would have to be the Hulk (original, when Rick Jones was around, not the many idiotic versions that appeared later). Either that or the Hal Jordan version of the Green Lantern (which is coming to the big screen in the near future).

  5. Right! There's been some pretty accurate Marvel movies (Punisher, Iron Man) but others they've mutilated the crap out of (X-MEN!!!)

I've always been a marvel girl. My absolute favorite is Dark Phoenix and I want to stab the writers of the third X-Men movie in the eyes with a fork for how bad they screwed up what could have been an epic story of Dark Phoenix. Grrrr.

And if I had to choose another I think maybe Dead Pool (totally screwed up in the Wolverine movie). Only because he is insane and simultaneously hilarious :)

  6. Yeah, I'd agree with you about how they screwed up the Xmen stuff (particularly how bad the latest Wolverine movie was). But somehow I've managed to just ignore what is in comics for those and enjoy the "new" story they put out.

Deadpool is a good choice, but I always liked Gambit a bunch (on the Marvel side). Oh, and of course I love Spidey's sense of humor and commenting nature during a battle. Always good for a laugh.
